Thomas A. Firey

Thomas A. Firey is a Maryland Public Policy Institute senior fellow, and also is managing editor of Regulation magazine, the Cato Institute's quarterly review of business in government.

Education

Firey holds a bachelor's degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland, where he studied political science and philosophy, and a master's degree in philosophy from Virginia Tech. A native of Washington County, Md., he is interested in microeconomics, economic development, public choice dynamics, and individual rights issues.
